How to play
On your turn, tap an open cell, then a letter on the keyboard. Get it right and you score its points instantly and keep going; get it wrong and it passes to the next player. Each turn stays open for up to 24 hours, so a game can run over several days without everyone needing to be online at once. Whoever has the most points when the verse is complete wins.

Frequently asked questions
How many people can play Versus?
2 to 5 players per game.
Do I need to stay online the whole time?
No — each turn stays open for up to 24 hours, so you can play your turn whenever you get a free moment.
Can I get notified when it's my turn?
Yes — when you create or join a room, you can add your email and we'll write to you if your turn has been waiting a while.
How do you win?
You score a letter's points the moment you get it right — no need to finish the whole word. Rarer letters are worth more. When the verse is complete, whoever has the most points wins.
What happens if I miss a letter?
The letter doesn’t get placed and the turn passes to the next player right away, no tolerance. Get it right, though, and you keep playing and scoring.
